The District's Administration Department is responsible for District day-to-day operations including; preparing Board of Directors, Commission, and committee documents; implementing the District's Strategic Initiatives; maintaining public records; executing adopted policies; serving as the liaison to other government agencies; monitoring state and federal legislation; emergency preparedness; and ensuring transparency compliance.
Publicly elected City Council members are sworn in as Ex-Officio Board of Directors of the District. The Board provides local control over the policies and decisions affecting water service in the community. Public meetings of the Board of Directors are held quarterly. Commissioners are appointed by the Board and serve a two-year term. Public meetings of the Commission are held monthly at the District.
